When traveling from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to Georgia Tech’s campus, you have a few different options.
Travel to campus via MARTA
You may choose to use Atlanta's public transportation system, MARTA. There is a rail station located inside the airport. This service offers the quickest and most inexpensive way to get to Georgia Tech. All trains leaving the airport travel north toward Georgia Tech. The Airport Station is located near the baggage claim area at the north end of the airport. Trains leave approximately every 10 minutes. Travel to campus via Taxi
Take a cab through downtown Atlanta to the Georgia Tech Campus. The Bill Moore Student Success Center is located on North Avenue (225 North Avenue NW, Atlanta 30332) next to the Bobby Dodd Football Stadium. Cab fare is approximately $30. For pick-up from the Student Success Center, ask the cab service to pick you up at 631 Cherry Street or 190 North Avenue NW.
Travel to campus via Rideshare Services (i.e. Uber/Lyft)
After collecting your bags at baggage claim, you will follow signs to the rideshare pick-up lot. It is about a 5 minute walk to the designated rideshare pickup area. It is recommended to wait to order your ride, until you have arrived at the pick-up location.
Please note, it is not recommended to accept rides from anyone soliciting rides.
